Doris Engels is an occupational therapist, design therapist and systemic therapist (DGSF). After her training she worked for 10 years as an occupational therapist at the Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy in Nuremberg. After a stay abroad and a year in the neurology department of the Nordklinikum Nürnberg, she founded her first own practice in 1998. To this day she is involved in the management of two interdisciplinary practices for occupational therapy and speech therapy. Doris Engels has been working with ILF Neurofeedback according to Othmer since 2010 and has been using it almost exclusively in her therapies ever since. Her focus is on depression, anxiety disorders, psychosomatic disorders, AD(H)S in therapy and coaching, developmental disorders, burn-out prevention and PTSD. Since 2014 she is a lecturer for EEG Info and teaches Neurofeedback.
